Communication

Moorlands uses three main methods of communication with families:

ClassDojo (https://www.classdojo.com/) is used by class teachers for friendly class updates and logistical information as well as whole school reminders and information and community-based updates.

Email is used to send letters, important information and updates and our twice-termly Fed Times newsletter.

The My Child at School app (MCAS) is our platform for managing data collection and parental consent as well as booking Home-School Partnership Meetings.

Class Dojo

In class, teachers can use ClassDojo to encourage positive behaviours linked to our LEARN Values. Families can view photos shared on Class Story, and communicate simply and safely with their child’s teacher.

Once you have downloaded the free ClassDojo app and created a parent account, teachers will be able to send you a unique code or link that will give you access to messages and Class Story.

My Child at School app (MCAS)

We use the BromCom My Child At School (MCAS) app for communication and to facilitate booking for Home School Partnerships. Please read the Parent Guide below and contact the school office if you need any further information about MCAS.
